Where’s Waldo?

Hit Waldo, Ohio this Saturday. Went on a road trip with Dad specifically for the purpose of getting a bologna sandwich from the G & R Tavern.

Not sure what sport involves eating ‘Famous Bologna Sandwiches’…but whatever sport it is, sign me up!

 

They’re not really this big, but as soon as you start eating it, you wish it was!!

 

The wall of fame. This is what replaced the pictures of famous people eating bologna sandwiches on the wall.

 

Dad’s eyeing the coconut creme pie. We opted instead for the soft-serve down the street.

 

 

This is the perfect bologna sandwich. Onions, sweet pickles, cheese, mustard on a bun. Set it off with some curly fries and wash it all down with a ice-cold MGD.

And just like that, it was gone. I really fought off taking that last bite.

 

All that tasty goodness for under $10/person.

And like that, the mini-trip to Waldo was over….but there’s another one looming on the horizon—those sandwiches are just too good to wait a whole year for.
